Transparency & Legal Contacts
Points of contact
Authorities, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services and users can reach us at legal@cotrest.com (English). Users can also use the report form or hello@cotrest.com. Law-enforcement requests: legal@cotrest.com with "Law enforcement" in the subject; see our law enforcement guidelines.
Notice and action
Every report is logged with the time received, reviewed by a person, and decided with a recorded statement of reasons: decision, legal or contractual ground, category, facts, and whether automation was used. We confirm receipt to the reporter and tell the reporter and the affected user what we decided. We currently use no automated content moderation.
Appeals and out-of-court settlement
Anyone affected by a decision can appeal it within six months; a different reviewer decides. EU users may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Article 21 DSA.
Recommender systems
Lists are ranked by backing and recency (see About). They are not personalised by profiling, and you can always use the chronological "New" list.
Reports
We will publish moderation and user-number figures at least once a year, and average monthly active EU users every six months, as the DSA requires.
