Profile Claims & Disputes
Who gets a page
We list adults with an established public presence: creators, podcast hosts, journalists, athletes, scientists and business leaders. See the creator criteria. We don't list private individuals, minors, or elected officials and candidates. Page addresses (for example cotrest.com/jane-doe) are held for the person they describe and can't be taken by user handles.
Getting verified
Find your page, choose "Is this you?", sign in, and place a one-time code on an official profile already listed on the page (YouTube description, website, or social bio). Websites and YouTube are checked automatically; other platforms are checked by a person. We can also verify you manually when you contact us from an official address. Remove the code once verified. One account manages one page; teams can contact us.
Disputes
If someone else verified your page, if your page has no official links, or if the links are wrong, open a dispute. We may ask for more proof and may suspend verification while we review. Fraudulent claims result in a permanent ban.
Corrections and opting out
Anyone listed can ask us to correct or remove their page at any time through the removal form or privacy@cotrest.com. Removal requests are honored, together with the pitches about that person, normally within 7 days.
