Copyright Policy
We respect intellectual property and respond to notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the EU Digital Services Act.
Sending a notice
Email copyright@cotrest.com with: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) the copyrighted work you believe is infringed; (3) the exact URL of the material on Cotrest; (4) your name, address, phone and email; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to copyright@cotrest.com with your signature, the removed material and its former URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, your name, address and phone, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or Los Angeles County, California, if outside the US). We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complainant tells us they've filed suit.
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Misrepresentations in notices can lead to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
